National Government Services Selected as Provider Enrollment Oversight Contractor for CMS IDIQ Program
The Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contractors will help detect, prevent and proactively deter fraud, waste and abuse in Medicare and Medicaid programs
INDIANAPOLIS –National Government Services has been named one of the contract awardees for the Provider Enrollment Oversight (PEO) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). As a prime seat holder of the IDIQ, NGS is eligible to bid on task orders released under this program. The PEO IDIQ is a 10 year IDIQ which started in 2020.If selected, NGS would then carry out provider enrollment and screening tasks for Medicare and Medicaid programs aimed at detecting, preventing and deterring fraud, waste and abuse.
CMS currently relies on a network of contractors to carry out program integrity and provider enrollment and screening tasks in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. The enrollment and screening process is constantly evolving through new regulations and authorities to address program vulnerabilities and prevent fraud, waste and abuse. In order to implement and operationalize these changes quickly and efficiently, CMS requires a contracting vehicle that is able to adapt to the swift demands of this ever-changing enrollment and screening landscape.
