National Government Services, Inc., a transformation leader within the federal healthcare arena, announced today the appointment of Jane Hite-Syed as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Hite-Syed succeeds acting COO Andrew Conn, who was named President of Elevance Health’s Federal Government Solutions unit in 2021. Prior to this role, she served as the company’s Staff Vice President and Chief Information Officer, leading the organization’s efforts in technology innovation and providing IT processes solutions for federal health agencies.

Hite-Syed joined National Government Services in 2018, when she led the organization’s digital transformation in order to better support modernization within the company’s federal partners. Under her guidance, the IT team has become a true leader in and advocate for emerging technologies and standards, including interoperability, human-centered design, rapid-prototyping, robotic process automation and data literacy. A previous recipient of the Leading for Impact: Women in Leadership award, Hite-Syed was recently named to the 2022 FedHealthIT 100 List.
